The J&E works to bring youth together from different communities to become friends. Basketball and other sports have been a main tool in connecting the youth. By spending time together, they have learned to respect one another, and be accountable to and for one another. Not only are sports fun, but they also are good teaching tools for life lessons. The discipline, team-work, and other fundamentals greatly help to shape the youth on and off the court.
It’s hard for single parents who are working multiple jobs, so the J&E works with the parents to help lead their children on the right path. The J&E works to ensure the children are growing in all facets of life, including physical, educational, spiritual, and emotional needs. We work with teachers, social workers, the police, ministries, and those that have a heart to truly help the youth.
